Argo meta-data
==============

The **argopy** approach to meta-data is not limited to the traditional `meta` netcdf files well known to operators and experts.

In **argopy** we consider Argo meta-data any *related* data that can complement the analysis, description or curation of Argo data.
Here we document **argopy** tools related to:

* :doc:`the global deployment plan from Ocean-OPS <deployment_plan>`

Note that data more specifically used in quality control are described in the dedicated :ref:`data_qc` documentation section (e.g.
topography, altimetry, in-situ reference data from Argo float and GOSHIP, etc ...).
